CHAPTER 19

Honor had slept for full eight hours, which was the most she’d slept in one night all week. Her body had started to recover but was still a little sore, and when she’d gotten out of the shower that morning, she’d run her fingers over three spots. One was on her shoulder, and it was dark-red. Silver must have sucked and nibbled on her skin there. Another was on her left breast, just under her nipple. It was a lighter shade of red, but Silver had used her teeth a little there, too. The third one was on Honor’s hip and was nearly as dark as the first one. She ran her fingertips over that one again as she lay naked in her bed long after her shower.

With no plans for the day, she had no reason to get dressed, and lying here naked felt nice. She’d never done it before, always choosing to get dressed immediately after her shower or bath and never sleeping naked. Well, she couldn’t say that anymore. Even with the men she’d slept with, she’d always gotten out of bed after and had dressed once she’d cleaned up. With Silver, though, she hadn’t wanted any kind of barrier between them, and Silver seemed to have no issue sleeping naked and holding Honor the whole night through.

Honor still had no idea what Silver saw in her or why she wanted to be with Honor again and again, but Honor needed to push Silver out of her mind and think about Christina, who would be her date that night. Yes, Honor was going on her first official date with a woman. Christina had texted Honor the previous night almost immediately after Honor had gotten home, and Honor had texted her back, deciding there was no reason to be shy over text when she’d never met this woman. They’d texted back and forth for a few hours before Honor had finally said goodnight, but not before Christina had asked if she wanted to grab a no-pressure drink.

Honor had said yes easily. She didn’t want to keep putting her life off because she couldn’t be brave enough to put herself out there. So, as she lay in her bed, she thought about what dress she’d wear for their drink at a fancy bar in the city. She had a red one that she thought looked nice on her. Of course, she hadn’t worn it in a while, so she’d need to make sure it still fit. Honor ran her finger over the spot on her hip again and realized that, even if she wanted to, she could not have sex with Christina tonight.

“She’d have a few questions that I do not plan on answering,” Honor muttered to herself.

She couldn’t help but picture Silver’s eager lips sucking on that spot, though, and her mind instantly went to how she had knelt in front of Silver before leaving. Silver had given her an option. Honor could have kissed her goodbye, like a date or girlfriend would have, or she could kiss her clit, which would probably lead to more.
